My name is WD - a producer, recording, mixing and mastering engineer based in the Netherlands.
I’ve been playing in and touring with bands for over 25 years, deeply rooted in the hardcore, punk and metal scene. That background shapes everything I do. I understand what heavy music is supposed to feel like — not just how it should sound.
With over 20 years of experience in recording, mixing and mastering, and a background in audio engineering, I focus on creating records that are powerful, honest and true to the artist.

I work closely with every band to bring their vision to life, from raw ideas to finished records. Whether you’re aiming for crushing heaviness, clarity, aggression or atmosphere, the goal is always the same: Make an awesome record.

SERVICES
You probably expect a long story here about what recording, mixing and mastering means filled with buzzwords and technical terms.

That’s not really how I work.

What matters is simple:
I care about your music and I do what it takes to make it sound the way it should.
Whether that means capturing raw energy, dialing in clarity, or pushing everything to hit harder — the goal is always the same: Creating a killer record.
Having said that here are some of the I can do for you:
RECORDING
Just need some recording done? Drums or other instruments and/or vocals for a project? Voice over or anything else? Get in touch, we'll make it happen.
MIXING
You’ve recorded your tracks yourself or in another studio? Ill turn them into a cohesive powerful mix. Mixing always comes with free mastering.
MASTERING
You want to give your mixes a professional high-end finish? I offer high-end digital mastering for CD, Vinyl and digital releases.
MOBILE RECORDING
I’m also able to travel with a small rig, so I can do recording on location if needed.
FULL PRODUCTIONS
A full production includes recording, editing, reamping, mixing and mastering.
This can be one song or a whole record or anything in between.
HYBRID PROJECTS
Hybrid projects are for bands on a small budget or who like to do some things themselves. Lots of musicians have the option and knowledge to make great recordings at home. I can for instance take care of drum recordings, re-amping, mixing and mastering while the band can record guitar DI’s, vocals and keys at home. Of course every project is unique, get in touch for details and possibilities.
